Ahad, 15th of The Deep Cold, 1324:::: Most of the stone is now gone. The warmth of the wood reminds me of Laurelin. I plan to visit there again soon. ::The forest may have its share of monsters, but I learnt today that it has blessings among them too . Not far from my dwelling is a Dark Elf couple, both of whom have shown me kindness.:: The lady Aviala I met upon arriving to the woods, with nothing but clothes on my back and a will. She provided me with food and shelter from the darkness. After night had passed I wondered a little while away from their home, to discover the place in which I now live.:: Today her husband – Moloha – traversing the forest happend across the path that I recently laid. This lead him here, and alas it was my turn to play host, and return the favour. We engaged in light banter and before long I found myself back at their home, reading some of the texts that Moloha him self wrote. A poem in his collection I am particulary interested in, and I shall ask him for a copy in the morn’ . ::That night a friend sent word to Moloha, requesting his aid for a battle, which I immediately offered to accompany them to. I followed Aviala to the shore, close to the Laurelin Mine, but when we sto pped to account for our company, Moloha was not among us.:: “I will search for him!” I announced to her before returning a way whence we came. Through the forest I looked, back to the homestead, the surrounding area, back to the shore again (Aviala now missing too) all the while shouting not only Moloha’s name but now Aviala’s as well. Inquiring in regards to their whereabouts I spoke with several Elves that were passing by. The next thing I knew I was searching the desert in the vain hope of finding them.:: As is becoming of the desert; my labours bore no fruit. What did I expect? To simply happen across them when they were summoned to aid a location or person only known to them?:: Worried after them, and hoping for their safe return I eventually came to learn that they both suffered a defeat against their opponents. If only I had been there, if I had assisted them …:: No point in brooding over it. Life does not leave the people of Aegis lightly, and they are alive. :: It is almost time to begin, I sense it; wanderlust will move these feet a great distance. :: Soon..
