3924 – Journal of a Philosopher VII; Elindor’s Travels (by Jerry_Man)

The Imperial Coalition will be another indepent force fighting valiantly on our frontlines. I spoke with their commander, a strong man who seems weary of battle but honourable enough to lead the charge again. I realise from our conversation that there are few who are attempting to understand this battle in a deeper sense, and fewer still who have considered God’s perspective. They are but men and they will more hastily pick sides than come to diplomatic reasoning with something they deem a threat. The preservation of Aegis needs them, just as it needs the Druids, just as it needs the rain. It troubles me that so many good people are lost against a struggle that we don’t comprehend.
