1455 – The Book of Eliphas, Chapter 2 (by l337Ninja)

[ On Evading And Engaging The Undead ]/ Note: The Undead are deadly and should be AVOIDED AT ALL TIMES. The lessons in this book are to be a last resort, in the event you are attacked. Evading the Undead: First off, remember this: the undead don’t take prisoners. If you run into Undead, you should always run. NEVER engage a Undead in combat without overwhelming numbers, or you will be destroyed. Remember, lightning is a sign the Undead are near. Playing hero does not mean giving the monks more bodys to tend to. Now, let us begin with how to avoid them. First thing, remember that the Undead are not after you specifically. If there is a guard or guard post nearby, the chances thay they will ignore you if you run triple. If you can, use forests or tunnels, where their mobs cant get you and their lightning cant reach you. If you are surrounded, but they don’t notice you, try to conceal yourself until they move to the next target. Remember, the Undead are not the people to stay idle for long. But, if conflict cannot be avoided, there are tools at your disposal to combat them. First, if you can you must keep your distance. This will prevent the mobs from surrounding you. Also, a bucket of water will be useful as they are know to summon and use fire on the battlefield. If you can, set up explosive traps before hand to deal with the horrors they will summon. If you wish for the invasion to cease, you must cut off their reinforcements at the heart, by striking at their portal. Only then will the threat be cancelled completely. If you wish to strike at their morale (remember, they still have souls, albight twisted ones), you must target theirProphet and Overlord, the commanders of Undead operation. If they are slain the invasion will fail, and the Undead will be without a leader. Good luck, and may the gods protect you from harm.
