()() A message from the author:This book is based on real life events()() ()()() Chapter 1 ()()() It was a normal day in Aegis as i was on my way back to the Holmes HQ from patrol. When i returned to the HQ i saw a group of people outside the Holmes HQ .There were Elves,A Dwarf,And an Ascended in the crowd Out of curiosity i went closer to try to find out what they were talking about .They where taking about a plan to travel to the kingdom of the Undead . I went closer and asked them why would they go there and they said that the Undead had come to harvest souls.I asked them if i could join them on their journey and they agreed to let me join but little did I know what horrors would await me. ()()() Chapter 2 ()()() We got ready for the long journey ahead of us. There were 7 of us in the group I Martin,Callum,Bastion,Braimoth,An Elvish Princess and an Ascended named Balcorim . We set out to Winterfell after hearing that the Undead have been seen there lately . We set of to Winterfell we passed thru Alk Hazar before reaching an orc camp . As we got closer the to encampment we saw 2 burning towers in the distance . When we arrived at the Orc camp the gates were shut and the watch towers burning . We went over the walls of the camp and saw burning tents and huts and as we searched more i something in teh distance caught my eye.()()() Chapter 3 ()()() It was a portal but it looked broken I called the others to show what i had found. When they arrived i tried to re-activate the portal but it was sealed shut. We needed another way to get to Drachriem the fabled kingdom of the Undead in the Nether . We searched the area more to see what we could find and as we were searching I went into the Shamans tent as I went inside i saw netherrack on the walls and floor. I called the others and when they arrived they as shocked as i was to see netherrack around the tent . We started asking what do we do now since the portal was destroyed there was only one other way to get to Drauchriem by going thru the portal in Striqaephoth the fabled floating city of the Undead.()()() Chapter 4 ()()() We set out North as it is said that the Undead’s Kingdom is in that direction . It would be a 6 day journey from the Orc Camp as we ventured out we gathered some supplies such as food and wood. As we set off we walked for miles on mountains and plains . After a long tired walk we stumbled upon an old tower as we noticed it was nearley night . We took shelter there for the night in the old abandoned tower . At dawn we set out again to continue our journey .After walking for a long time we had noticed that Briamoth was gone when we went a bit back thru our steps we had noticed he died we made our prayers after putting him in a grave. We continued to head North as we travelled more we reached a old looking fort. After we passed it we travelled farther but the farther we got the more people we lost. ()()() Chapter 5 ()()() After many days of travelling we had lost Elrond and The Princess the only ones left were me,Callum,Bastion and Balcorim .As we walked illusions kept coming to me nearly driving me mad . When all hope seemed lost after walking in circles we saw a structure in the distance amazed to see that we actually found a bulding . As we got closer it turned out to be the fabled city of Striqaephoth . We had done it after a long 6 day journey of non-stop walking after losing so of the 7 of us who left on this journey only 4 of us made it to Striqaephoth . But as we looked around the place there was no actual way to get to the walkway we needed to find a route to get to the upper walkway to get to the portal ()()() Chapter 6 ()()() As we looked around we noticed some old mine with walls of netherrack .I went closer to get a better look with Bastion but as we got closer the floor collapsed under us causing us to fall into the cave nearly landing on lava. As I got up I noticed that Bastion was injured I helped him get back up looking for a way to get back up . But as I searched a spider appeared and amushed us he attacked Bastion . As I got up Bastion was fighting the spider I picked up my sword and ran it thru the spider’s body . I helped Bastion get out but as we made our way out of the mine a skeleton shot him as Bastion was badly injured i killed the skeleton and returned to Bastion . When I got Bastion back up out of the mine he was gravely wounded an arrow in his chest . We tried to clean the wound but it was too badly injured and as day arrived Bastion gave his last words before passing away. ()()() Chapter 7 ()()() We needed to continue to find a way to the portal after spending sometime looking we found some broken steps around an tower . We climbed up and got to the portal we knew that if we went thru we may not make it back home alive but after all that we went thru we couldn’t just turn back we got ready and jumpped thru the portal. ()()() Chapter 8 ()()() When we got thru we had arrived at Drauchriem we could hear ghastly noises around us we saw a man in the distance so we hid in order to avoid being caught. We went to their library it was like a maze in there diffrent stair cases and book shelves . We finally made our way out of the library but as we left we entered some sort of thrown room of the Undead’s leader .As we moved around the room we saw a light coming from some pit as i went closer I nearly fell into the pit which was filled with lava. But Balcorim pulled me back before i could fall in . We went to the town square of their kingdom avaoiding to be caught by one of them .We had made it to the center of there city but as we entered it one of their guards had spotted us he said to us “Why are you here mortals” in an angry voice. .He ordered us to leave this place we returned to the portal but as we were about about to go thru i frew my blade and cut the man and we went thru the portal. When we returned to the normal world we had seen that the man followed us and brought an Undead with him the Undead fired a bolt of lightning at callum and destroyed him when i looked around for Balcorim he was no where to be found. He must have stayed in the Nether to finish his task there.()()() Chapter 9()()() The Undead and his follower had cornered me to a point where all I could do was either jump of the edge or attack them. As they got closer I told them “Might I ask you a question?” the Undead then said “What is your question” as I used that moment to stall them. With a bow in my hand I fired an arrow at each of them and jumpped of the edge. ()()() Chapter 10 ()()() When I woke up I was at the Cloud Temple.As I looked around the monks told me that they had found me unconsious in the middle of some plains. I travelled back to the Holmes HQ and tried to regain my strength but still tormented by the terrors I had seen I knew I would never forget it {{{ The End }}}
