4726 – Aegis Survival Guide: Volume 1: Surviving the Urban Jungle (by racingbrother)

Surviving in Aegis is a hard task, not all are able to make it in the four main towns. These people resort to living in the wilds. If you do not want to be pushed out into the wilds, read this book. It will teach you how to make money, and ultimately survive in a big city. :: Chapter I, Making it Rain: To make money is the most important thing to do in Aegis. This is the center of everything that happens in Aegis. Minas can get you anything you want in Aegis, from poorly brewed ale to diamond blocks. To get money you must first get a job, or sell valued goods. I personally would recomend selling valued goods to normal citizens in your own home town. First you must choose what you want to sell. You can sell precious ores for a very high price. But selling ores is a very difficult task. This is a difficult task because to get precious ores you must first buy a mining permit. Or you could try to sell coal, which is not valued what so ever. So I wouldn’t try to sell ores. If you want to sell goods, I would go with selling food. Food is needed in big towns for not starving to death. So to get food you must get kill animals who carry food, or farm the food. Farming is nearly impossible in the city due to not being able to create a farm without out buying land in the city. So killing animals to get food would be the best solution. What you’ll need to do is go far enough out until you can chop down trees. Once you can cut down trees, create a crafting bench. After you have made a crafting bench, you’ll need to make sticks. After this create a wooden pick. Once you’ve done this get three pieces of cobblestone, create a stone pick. Once you’ve done this, get about a stack of cobblestone. Make a sword after this task is done. Kill as many animals that will drop food as possible, these animals include pigs, cows, chickens, zombies, and spiders. Now after getting food, go to the most populous area in your main kingdom. Announce that you are selling food at a low price. When some people start to buy your goods, you’ll be getting money.
