Hello to whom ever is reading this, hopefully that of the Mages Guild. The Laws and order i wish to talk about: -The Mage must protect the land of Aegis from those who seek to destroy it. -Above all else, Mages must uphold the balance of the world, despite the effects it has on others. Our orders from Arcane Mage i was told: Remain defensive no offensive at all. The other day i sieged the Undead Keep with a few others and yes i lead them to their deaths, we got inside the keep without a single death and killed the undead with a surprise attack, when they came back to attack us the Wandering Wizard and the Ascended joined the fray, I myself was caught between two armies of undead minions and fire, i ran through the fire to be confronted by more minions, i fell in battle and i could not order a retreat as i was unable to. The Undead has been raiding constantly and destroying Phoenix Hold and now the KOTF are disbanded because of that and then they took Snowy Fields and everyone flees the North! Where is the balance? the Undead swing the weights in their favor and everyone fears them and those who don’t are liars. The law is “Above all else, Mages must uphold the balance of the world, despite the effects it has on others.” The effects on others were men died that day, Many more i gave hope and with that hope we have more of a chance to hold the North, yet i get punished? The others in that court when Bell wanted me punished said otherwise and everytime i tried to say something to defend myself i was cut off halfway by then i decided to shut up and let Laos talk on my behalf. What i am getting at is that perhaps we should be defensive but we should also on occasion be offensive as the law says. And this part is another thing i wish to talk about. Soon if we continue staying on the defensive the Undead WILL take the North, slowly and surely. Will we Mages wait till they ram down the gates of Al’ Khazar again and again? before we ever stop defending and go on the offensive? Once they reach Al’ Khazar they will control the North, And we cannot let that happen. We cannot stand idly by and only defend, Yes we should remain neutral with the 4 races of Aegis but we cannot stay neutral with the Undead, We must attack, start a sub-group in the Mages Guild for Battle Mages if you must but there must be some of us Mages who take the battle to the Undead and bring hope to Aegis. If Aegis sees us Mages only defending Aegis they may lose hope, we cant let that happen. Consider this.
