The Arena by Balin Griffinhammer As the human king called up the names of the people that were gonna compete , i thought to myself: How pathetic many of the men looked Some of them were shacking, and i even saw a man Crying in the corner :: :: As a dwarf i would never shacke before death, i wouldent even look away he called up names, some of the ones he called for was there and some of the cowarded out :: Thats when he called the name Leafwind up The little elf went up, and said Yes sire?, Then the king answerd: You Blue team now! i dident think anything speciale about this little elf, i thought he was just like the others only that he was hiding his fear But belive me.. I was wrong! :: Then he called me up, i said yes king, and he said You go to blue now! i went to the blue armory first and said: Listen up Blue team! If it is free for all, we wont kill each other! But if not! May the best Dwarf win! :: first out from the blue team was a scared looking human, he was shacking from top to toe and i thought, this kid… he will not live to se tomorrow . and as i thought he got slaughtered, The other competitor smiled and yelled: EASY! :: The next blue competetor was this leafwind fellow, He stepped up put on his armor and raised his sword. The other competetor was a human . the battle was over in mere seconds, on the ground lay the head of the red team competetor and Leafwind stood over him, not muttering a word . he went back into the blue armory and just sat there. :: The king yelled: NEXT COMPETETORS and i knew it was me, i stepped up and leveled the other man with my eyes it was a orc no doubt, the king yelled FIGHT and the fight for my life started . as you probably knew already, orcs are the most naturall fighters in all of aegis He charged at me, i parried and struck back . the battle lasted for what seemed like ages, but in the end i finished him off and won the Fight, the other dwarfs on the arena and my team yelled Good work balin! . i yelled FOR KAL’URGUAN! and the crowd applauded. :: and the fights continued, blue team leaded with a lead of 8 to 2 i had fought two times and won both . Then it was one of blue versus Leafwind who was on the same team. Both were skilled fighters, but even tho Leafwind finished him off fast, and his incredeble skills made him able to damage everything around the target also , a unlucky viewer fell down and the aoe from leafwind killed him then, leafwind finished his competer off then it was one of the red team versus the 3rd member of the blue not being dead Cause this arena dident stop untill all the competers but 1th 2th and 3th was dead :: he finished his enemy off quick, and then it was him versus leafwind :: It was a fast battle, leafwind knocked him out and won the fight. he would now be in the finales, The magic of the monks at aegis healed him up and i would be against him :: We fought long and hard, but in the end my small feets tripped in the gravel. When i fell to the ground, he took the sword to my throwt and said: I win Then it was him versus Leafwind again :: The finalle took alittle time, but once again leafwind won the match. :: So i guess the thing is, Train alot with a sword. and even a dwarf can win alot. :: And i guess, the same goes for the elfs too.. :: :: Dedication: Good job Leafwind! hope you read this book!
